Rocket Defense: Meteor Strike
Last updated: 2 May 2025
Please read this notice carefully. It explains who we are, how and why we collect, store, use, and share personal information, your legal rights, and how to contact us or a supervisory authority if you have a complaint.
1. Who We Are
İdris Batuhan Aydın ("we", "us", "our") develops and publishes Rocket Defense: Meteor Strike (the "Game"). Under laws such as the EU GDPR, UK GDPR and Türkiye's KVKK, we act as the data controller for any personal information processed in connection with the Game.
2. Personal Information We Collect & Use
When you launch or play the Game, we create a Unity Player ID for you and, if you choose, a display name. Alongside this account data we automatically receive basic technical details from your device—such as its operating‑system version, model, language setting, a hashed device identifier (IDFV on iOS or GAID on Android), and the region inferred from your IP address. Gameplay telemetry (levels attempted, session length, menus tapped) and diagnostic information (crash logs, frame‑rate, memory usage) are also transmitted to Unity's cloud so we can balance difficulty, fix bugs and keep the service secure. If you contact us for support, we will process the contents of your e‑mail and any screenshots you provide.
We rely on different legal grounds to process this information. Account data is handled so we can perform the contract that lets you access leaderboards and restore progress. Device, usage and diagnostic data are processed in our legitimate interest to operate, protect and improve the Game. Support messages are processed to assist you and to comply with applicable consumer‑protection obligations. We do not collect precise GPS data, photos or videos, microphone or camera input, contacts, payment information, or any "special‑category" data under GDPR Article 9.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Operate and maintain core features such as sign‑in, cloud saves and leaderboards
- Analyse anonymised gameplay trends to balance difficulty and design new content
- Diagnose crashes and technical issues to improve stability and performance
- Detect cheating or fraudulent behaviour to keep play fair
- Respond to support requests and fulfil legal obligations
No automated decisions are taken that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Unity may process data on servers in the United States. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and Unity's ISO‑27001‑certified security controls to safeguard these transfers.
6. Retention – How Long We Keep Data
We retain personal data only while it is needed to run the Game, while your Unity account remains active, or while we must meet a legal obligation (for example, consumer‑protection or security requirements). When none of these conditions apply, we delete or irreversibly anonymise the data within 30–90 days. You can request deletion at any time (see §7).

8. Children's Privacy
The Game is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Parents who believe we hold such data should e‑mail us so we can delete it promptly.
9. How to Complain
We aim to resolve any privacy concerns directly. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (e.g., KVKK in Türkiye, the ICO in the UK, or your EU authority).
